    What COVID-19 strategies are recommended for a business/employer regarding mitigation, quarantine and isolation?

    Waukesha County Public Health encourages all businesses and employers to implement national mitigation strategies to stop the spread of COVID-19. Slowing the spread of COVID-19 can help reduce absenteeism due to illness and exposure to others while keeping your employees and patrons safe.

    1. Promote COVID-19 vaccination for employees. Vaccination is the best strategy to stop the spread of COVID-19 and prevent hospitalizations and death. Read vaccination information from Waukesha County Public Health
    2. Promote COVID-19 booster doses. Learn more about boosters and additional doses from the WI Department of Health Services.
    3. Follow national mitigation strategies.
    4. Let sick employees stay home. Any staff with COVID-19 symptoms should leave work and get tested. See testing resources in Waukesha County.
    5. Waukesha County Public Health encourages everyone to follow new national COVID-19 quarantine and isolation guidance that eases quarantine and isolation rules.
