Employees exposed to COVID-19 should follow national guidance on quarantine and isolation, published January 2022, to help prevent COVID-19 from spreading in your business or organization.

    Businesses/employers are encouraged to:

    1. Promote COVID-19 vaccination for employees. Vaccination is the best strategy to stop the spread of COVID-19 and prevent hospitalizations and death. Read vaccination information from Waukesha County Public Health
    2. Promote COVID-19 booster doses. Learn more about boosters and additional doses from the WI Department of Health Services.
    3. Follow national mitigation strategies.
    4. Let sick employees stay home. Any employee with COVID-19 symptoms should leave work and get tested. See testing resources in Waukesha County.

Businesses/employers looking for guidance related to the pandemic can call the Waukesha County Public Health COVID Hotline at 262-896-8430.
