When you need a COVID-19 test result quickly, such as prior to travel, please confirm that the type of rapid test available to you is acceptable to the institution requiring the test result.

Although all entities typically accept PCR test results, only some entities accept antigen test results. Antigen test are considered less reliable than a PCR test. Both PCR and antigen tests are available as standard and rapid tests. Read more from Waukesha County Public Health on differences between COVID-19 test types. Or contact your primary care physician’s office to discuss other options.

Four rapid antigen at-home tests per home address are available for free through the federal government.
    Test results within 30 minutes.
